New Location!
After operating in Arlington Heights for 16 years, Alltemated Inc. has reached the point of yet another needed expansion. At the end of 2019, the company relocated to Wheeling, Illinois. Since moving, the company has been able to further its growth towards production and boost its capabilities. An increase in the number of machines and equipment are now being used and continue to be added, including machines for carrier tape manufacturing and automated PLACE-N-BOND.
Our newest addition is the Clean Room which features two more thermoforming packaging machines and is primarily used for medical projects. It ensures an environment free of bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens while keeping dust and air particles on a low level. It is also certified to ISO 4 (class 10).
COVID-19
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Alltemated has been a supplier to healthcare and defense industries, so they have been fortunate to continue their operations as an essential business. Many new procedures and precautions were put in place to ensure safety among the employees.
Since the beginning of COVID-19, there has been a reduction in volumes and slowed design development. However, Alltemated continues to gain new business with new companies. As Illinois has been restored to stage 5, the company has remained precautionary yet easing back to normality. They are excited as restrictions continue to be lifted and they can reconnect with customers to resume operations at full swing.
New Website!
Alltemated Inc. has officially launched their new website as of June 2021. It features more of a modern design with updated content and bolder navigation.
PLACE-N-BOND™
For the last few years, this product has continued to change the game for SMT component adhesives. With more development for BGA reliability applications, PLACE-N-BOND usage continues to expand. This includes many types of strain relief applications for flex circuits that are directly soldered to rigid PCBs. Other uses include conformal coat dam, 3-D encapsulation and flex to connector bonding. The latest trends are bonding inductors, capacitors and connectors to PCB in reflow. The expansion of flexible solutions for more products and parts is clearly on the rise.
